Higurashi No Naku Koro NiSet in Hinamizawa, Maebara Keiichi transfers to the village and befriends classmates Rena, Mion, Rika and Satoko. After being accepted as a member of the "club", where they play various games and activities, he begins to stumble upon the dark history of Hinamizawa. It is possible that his new friends could be involved in the mystery.
This is one of my favourite series but it wasn't until the end of the third season that I truely fell in love with it, after struggling through it's confusing storyline. It is definetly an anime worth sticking with to the end.
